Frequently Asked Questions

How long do I have access to the Bootcamp?
The Bootcamp has a specific start and end date. You will have access to the Bootcamp resources for that period only. As part of your enrolment to the Bootcamp, you will also get life-time access to Arduino Step by Step Getting Started and Arduino Step by Step Getting Serious.
Can you map the course to the Educational Curriculum in my country?
This may be possible. Please go to txplore.tv/p/contact and send us a message about mapping this curriculum, we are happy to help any way we can.
Can I work on my own project during the course?
Of course, and we do encourage doing just that. Keep in mind, however, that we cannot provide direct support to you in relation to your project.
Will I need to purchase components?
Yes. The course is practical and it depends on students working on real hardware, not simulated. You can purchase the hardware you need from our shop or the open market. A list of components is available.
Can I get a refund?
The short answer is: No, unless you request it at least 7 working days prior to the start date of your Bootcamp. Unlike our self-paced courses, when you enrol to a Bootcamp you trigger a process that has a relatively high cost. Our instructors and other team members must allocate time to assist you. Their time, like yours, is valuable and in short supply. Once we have provisioned resources to you, it is costly to make changes. Our infrastructure is also costly, and it is dedicated to serving Bootcamp participants before anyone else. But the most important reason why we believe that Bootcamp refunds are not desirable is commitment. We want you to think carefully about the value that this training will deliver to you and your professional development, and once you commit, to complete it.
What if something happens beyond your control can't complete it?
We understand that life can get in the way. In case of an emergency, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. We'd be more than happy to halt your Bootcamp and credit you all the work you have done up to that point. You will be able to continue with the rest of the training on a future Bootcamp.
Will I get a certificate?
If you complete all Bootcamp projects and mini-projects by the end of the Bootcamp, yes, we will issue your Graduation certificate within a week of the Bootcamp completion.
Is this a self-paced course?
No. This course has a specific curriculum, with specific activities prescribed for each day. Each day, you will receive an email that explains the day's activities. You will also have a Bootcamp resources ebook, as well as the video content to help you progress. Finally, all your work will be evaluated by your coach, who will also provide video feedback.
